About Glocal Insight
A small senior team — deliberate by design.
What we do
Three ways we engage with US companies.
ISO consulting firms tend to specialize in either implementation work or ongoing support. We do both, because the two skills are different and most clients need both at different stages of their relationship with their management system. Our work also extends one step further — into business advisory rooted in executive operating experience.
Build & certify
Project engagements that take a company from no management system (or a failing one) to a fresh ISO certificate. Scope, gap analysis, documentation, controls, audit prep, certification body liaison. Defined endpoint, defined scope, defined cost. Typical engagement length: four to ten months depending on standard and complexity.
See standards we cover →Ongoing partnership
For clients already holding an ISO certificate (whether we placed you there or not), we offer ongoing support in three increasing tiers — on-demand advisory for occasional questions, an operating retainer for active monthly partnership, and fractional ISO leadership for clients who want the depth of a senior VP of Quality without hiring full-time. Each tier is tailored. We don't publish rate cards.
Scope an ongoing engagement →Fractional executive leadership
Our principal consultants are former senior executives — operating backgrounds across strategy, operations, quality, compliance, growth, and change management. We engage as fractional executives (COO, VP of Operations, VP of Quality, Chief of Staff, or domain-specific roles) for US companies that need senior leadership depth without committing to a full-time executive hire. ISO oversight is one capability; the role is broader.
How fractional leadership works →How we think
Four principles we hold to.
Built for the auditor — used by the team.
A management system that passes certification but never gets used is a tax, not an asset. Every system we design has to do both jobs: defend itself in front of an auditor and be the documentation your team actually reaches for when running the business. The second job is harder than the first.
Plain English, no jargon theater.
Compliance is hard enough without a wall of acronyms. We translate standards into language your operators, engineers, and leadership actually understand. The system gets adopted because people can tell what it is asking them to do.
Senior consultants only — no offshoring, no juniors.
Compliance work delegated to juniors usually fails twice: once during the project, once at the first surveillance audit when findings expose what the juniors missed. We staff our engagements with senior practitioners who have been through audits many times, often as the responsible operator on the other side of the table.
Honest scope over rate cards.
Every engagement is different. The fast 4-month ISO 9001 implementation for a 25-person service firm is not the same work as the 10-month integrated ISO 9001 + 14001 implementation for a multi-site manufacturer. Publishing a rate card would mislead more than it would inform. We publish scope conversations instead — start one when you are ready.
Who we are
A senior team, deliberately small.
Glocal Insight is intentionally a small, senior firm. Our principal consultants bring decades of operating and advisory experience across the ISO management-system standards we cover — and most importantly, executive-level experience that lets us serve in leadership-adjacent roles when that is what the engagement requires.
We work with US companies primarily, with occasional referral engagements for international firms seeking US regulatory context. We are based in Kansas; we serve clients across the United States via remote partnership and on-site engagement.
We choose not to publish individual consultant profiles. The work speaks for itself, and our preference is for client engagements to center on outcomes rather than personalities. If you want to talk to the senior practitioner who would actually run your engagement before signing anything, that is exactly what the scope call is for.
